In his over 30 years of experience in the retail real estate industry, Richard has successfully partnered with clients to achieve strategic real estate solutions. He has represented some of the largest property owners in New York, as well as landlords who own just a single building. He has represented retail and restaurant concepts from global brands, to entrepreneurs just starting their businesses. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), as well as a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York.
Prior to forming RA Cohan, Richard worked at a few of the leading brokerage firms in New York City. His vast experience has taught him to take his work very seriously but never take himself too seriously. Mr. Cohan holds a BBA from the University of Miami and is currently living in Manalapan, New Jersey with his wife Nadine. He also has two sons, Michael is a trader at JP Morgan and Jake is a Junior at the University of Michigan.
